Better Safe than Sorry

The Manual for Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) sets the standard for "ALL" traffic signs.  Making traffic signs requires the use of FHWA Standard Alphabets, which have very rigid specifications. "Highway Gothic" Windows™ fonts used in other graphic signmaking applications DO NOT conform to the FHWA Standard Alphabet "Spacing Tables" (or kerning tables). The highway fonts in TraffiCAD meet all FHWA and MUTCD specifications exactly! Attention to detail in the creation of the standard MUTCD signs in our libraries makes TraffiCAD 2000 the best tool for the creation of traffic signs that meet specifications.
